Staff Training

After we’ve signed up our new nurses and carers and completed the checks and references we will book you onto our in-house training course.

It is important to us that you are fully competent in the below areas to confidently carry out your new job.

Additional training can be arranged depending on client requirements and candidate performance throughout the training course.

All training will be carried out in person to ensure that candidates have the full understanding of all modules and can get quick answers to any questions they may have. Upon the completion of the training course we will assess how you have performed and we can arrange additional training if needed.

For new workers who have no prior experience we can also arrange a trial shift where you shadow another member of staff. You’ll have the opportunity to get a feel for what the job will be like in a real-life environment and apply your training with the supervision of an experienced staff member. Shadow shifts are a great way to make sure your new job in care is right for you and ensure you’re comfortable within the role.

We regularly send out shift availability and rely on your response to book your shifts. Once your first shift is confirmed we will be in touch before and after the shift to see how it goes and sort out any queries you may have.
